Forgotten
Acrylic on canvas -- 24" x 48"-- 2017A tribute to the children who were sent to Indian Residential Schools. The nuns and priests are dark figures that overshadow the children. The roots and branches are not touching the earth, but stretch towards a fading dream catcher indicating the loss of their culture and heritage.
